About Survodutide

Survodutide is a peptide that activates the glucagon and GLP-1 receptors and not the GIP receptor — the same pair as Mazdutide, with a different molecule. Its development code is BI 456906. Besides metabolic research it has been studied in liver disease, including a phase 2 trial in metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) with fibrosis (Sanyal et al., 2024).
